Data Curation Centre: New data appraisal checklist now online
A new DCC checklist entitled 'Five steps to decide what to keep' aims to help UK Higher Education Institutions support their researchers in making informed choices about what research data to keep, at the same time as helping them plan what to publish. The guide outlines factors to weigh up, including the compliance risks and potential value, as well as the data management costs, after first considering for what purposes the data may be reused. Print copies will be available soon.
